This model is super lightweight at just 13 pounds, and it supports over 400 pounds with no bending! Its combination aluminum-plastic design makes it the lightest and strongest pet ramp on the market. It's also more compact, making it easier to use and store.


It extends from 39" to 72" and anywhere in between. No clumsy folding and unfolding required. Fully extend it for use with SUVs, pickup trucks, grooming tables, etc. Shorten the ramp when space is limited or when the upper surface isn't as high, such as on the bed, couch, or side entry of a minivan. A unique, undulating walking surface with non-slip tread gives pets sure footing, especially on steep climbs.

He was a little hesitant about it, but after he became acclamated to it, it was great. He likes to ride in the back of my husbands pickup, so when he is recovered this will come in very handy.

Poorly made

Ramp was purchased for an eleven y.o. dog at 80+ pounds to get in and out of SUVs for travelling. On the third day of practice, he got the idea and now goes up and down with no problem. (Hint: start by having your pet walk on the ramp as it's laid flat on the ground.) The ramp has rubber feet on both ends to protect your vehicle, and stays rigid with a large dog on it. Many things I don't like about it: the stops that keep the two telescoping parts together are not at all durable and BROKE on the first day of "real" use... but the ramp is still useable. The nonskid "sandpaper" surface gets scratched and torn with every use, and my dog doesn't have sharp claws. Also, the nonskid walking surface is less than 13 inches wide, a problem for dogs with stocky build. The best I can say is that despite being a cheap piece of[*], the ramp works pretty well... but I will be surprised if it lasts for a year of weekend use.

        This ramp is the perfect solution for my dog. He has just had leg surgery, and was unable to jump to get in the car, now he can go for his daily rides.
        I also love to bear hunt, so I bought a second one to load my hunting dogs on the truck, so now they don't have to jump up on the tail gate, this works great.....Thanks
