Eventually this run will be used for two adult Siberian Huskys that will be between 40 and 65 pounds. Right now they are pups and the run serves as a safe spot to leave them for a few hours. Pups, as one knows, don't sleep at night any better than babies, so that means we sleep when we can. Since we live in Nevada, they stay indoors during the summer heat of the day, except for exercise and bathroom breaks. When they wake up at 4:40AM, the run is a great place to stash they while we get another couple of hours sleep. During the rest of the year, Sep through May, this will be a great place for them to play and exercise (its a 12x12) when we can't be with them all of the time. Our yard is large, but we still need a safe harbor at times. This is it. We love it!

We have a 90lb great dane puppy that started scratching our baseboards and drywall while we were away at work. I bought a 4x8 kennel to put in our basement and keep her in when I'm away and she loves it. She's safer there then roaming the house and it's very sturdy and large even for when she is full grown.

Overall, this is a good kennel. The only problem i see with it is the door latch. It did not keep my dog from in the kennel for long. I added two more latches for my 68 lbs pit bull.
