Description

The Cottageview Dog Kennel features a sturdy, handsome design that is ideal for use on decks and patios, or out in the yard. This kennel includes four panels, a left- or right-hand opening gate (determined during setup), and a SunBlock Top™ shade canopy. Ideal for temporary or semi-permanent installations, this kennel sets up quickly and easily- less than an hour for one-person setup.

Constructed from durable metal and finished with all-weather, rust-resistant powder coating in classic black, this kennel can be used with confidence indoors or out. Kennel expansion panels for larger dogs are available and sold separately.

This is a great product. [...] It was very easy for me to assemble with just a wrench. I appreciated that it was easy to work with as I tried a couple of configurations. I also ordered extra panels. Overall nice quality but I was surprised at the rust(?) that came out of the panels. Recommend you shake each panel on grass before setting up on concrete so you don't have little piles of rust (red fine grain silt) to clean up! I have two 55 pound labradors and the unit plus one order of panels is great. Mine is set up in a cabin basement for times I must leave the dogs over an hour.

This is a real nice size kennel especially for inside the house and it is easy to assemble. The top they provide is too small. They need to make it at least 6 inches bigger around so that it covers the entire top. The way it is a smart dog can get out easily. I ended up having a piece of plywood cut to fit the top and screwing that down so my german shepherd could not get out.

This kennel looks great.We have a mastif that has managed to escape out of everythng we put him in. My thoughts are will he escape from the bottom if we use this in our home? He can lift things up. We just really need to find something before he totlty ruins our home while we are away at work ... Please help any suggestions

Our neighborhood has coyotes. I usually leave my dogs in the kitchen while I go out (I am retired) but have been looking for a strong large cage-like pen to put up and leave them in on my patio if I will be gone longer than 3 hours. These "sun shade" tops will be torn open in moments by a coyote.
Why don't these companies routinely offer a metal topper as an option?
(If left on a lawn as pictured, coyote will dig under, so need a metal bottom option for under gravel.)

My 2 german shepherds are in a fenced yard. However, when friends come over and we barbeque, the kennel enables me to seperate them from my guest, and my guest from them. My shepherds don't care much for it, because it limits their freedom. But since i am the top dog (BOSS) i'm loving it. It's very stable and my shepherds are put where they can't harm anyone and cant be harmed by the kennel itself. They have been trying to figure out how to get out, but they have been very unsuccessful.
