Our dog has severe separation anxiety. He was a rescue. We tried every pen and crate in the market and our little lhasa can push through metal bars, plastic tray bottoms and unlock latches...hurting himself in the process snagging his claws,breaking his teeth, rubbing his skin raw against surfaces, cutting his paws on sharp edges of plastic/bars that he ripped apart. Leaving him to roam free in the house was out of the question as he unlocked doors, damaged walls/carpets/doors/windows and was worse off. Keeping him contained was the best option short of taking him everywhere with us which is not always possible. It was really sad and the vet said n this case, we should put him down. We bought this as a last resort. The plastic is thick and tough. Hard for him to break apart. We solved the bottom issue by laying the plastic that you put under office chairs under the pen to protect the floor. We solved the issue of our dog jumping out of the crate by building a customized cover with wood and plastic. He is so much more comfortable and we don't have to fear him doing any real damage to the house or himself anymore. This pen lasted us almost 4 years before all his scratching, he wrecked one of the plastic bars on the door. This has led me to this site to purchase a new one! Please no nasty comments...we've done everything for this dog including taking him to work and working from home full-time. We love him and want him safe.

Great product for puppy or small dog..only wish
it had a floor. A removeable floor would be idea for cleaning.

Looks good to leave out in the open. It's in my living area so my yorkie can see us moving about in the kitchen. He is a puppy, so his potty pad is in the playpen in case he can't get to the door in time!

This is the best. It is so easy to use and assembly was a snap!! I used a lot of children's play pens in the past when I got a new puppy and this is so much better.
