Description

The Midwest 36-inch Gold Dog Exercise Pen offers larger breed dogs comfort and security, while allowing them the freedom to move and play. This pen is constructed from 9 and 11 gauge wire with a 1.5 x 6-inch mesh, and features long-lasting Acri-Lock™ acrylic coated gold zinc finish. The pen's eight 36-inch panels include a handy door, can be arranged an octagon or square shape, and flatten and pack up easily for storage and portability. For extra security, the door features a double latch, and ground stakes and stabilizers are included. For added versatility, two pens can be hooked together to create a larger pen. This pen is easy to set up, with no tools required for assembly. Measures 24W x 36H inches.

My dog, due to surgery has to be confined and I did not want to put him in a kennel. This is perfect. The panels are flexible so you can assemble any which shape that fits. I put it in front of a window with the open side, so he does not even look out the window through the panel and he is very happy. I do think that if the dog were to jump up on in it would not hold my 93 lbs dog.. But he does not do that so it is completley safe. I like the way the panels look. They do not look like a chain link fence or remind you of the kennel.. so, very easy. I got the 36 inch which was plenty high for my who has about 29 inches in shoulder height. Again he does not lean against it or jumps up... he can be part of our daily activity and not have the feeling of being put away during his recovery. Thanks for the great product. Good price as well.

I've been using this for my golden retriever puppy for the past 3 weeks. It contains her in her own area while I'm away. It does it's purpose of keeping her in, but she jumps on it so much that the stabilizers keep falling off. Maybe it would work better for a smaller dog.

I love this dog pen. I have two evergreen bushes that wrens like to roost in over the winter.I wrap the pen around the bushes. I found that this works very well protecting my outdoor birds from predators like hawks and my dogs. The birds love to sit on the rim of the pen and they can walk right through the openings. I have a Doberman and German Shepherd, they would have fun flushing out the birds if I didn`t protect them. This pen is amazing in high wind conditions, it doesn`t budge. I plan on ordering more to protect my flowering bushes in the spring. My dogs love to chew on the branches otherwise. Not a conventional way to use this pen but it works so well, I couldn`t be more pleased

I'm using the pen in my living area to contain and control my four month old puppy in a humane manner. Her bed and mattress are in it and her many toys. The TV is nearby which she watches sometimes. It is a bit too tall and will exchange it for a shorter one.

Installed a pet door and put fence off end of deck. Now dog can go in and out as he pleases and I am not worried he will get loose. Fence is secure and easy to move around if needed. I have an extra fence for camper and set up so dog can be outside with no danger another dog will get him. I highly recommend this type of fence for small to medium dogs. I have a French Bull Dog, not large but active and fence works well.

Bought a pen for RV traveling with two medium dogs. Decided not quite big enough, so bought another and connected the two. The space is perfect for my two dogs. I'm very impressed with the quality, easy of set-up and break down, and ease of transporting. The dogs love their outside time (though never left in pens unattended). Would highly recommend these pens for anyone traveling with pets.
