I have two miniature schnauzers and they just love the new house. It is a small doghouse so it would not be good for large breeds. The "room with a view" is fun for them to lay on the top in the sun or go inside when they want to take a nap.

Well made, mostly made with screws (rather than nails or staples); easy to put together. Love the design! My cat like the choice of security (inside) or the view - on the roof top.
Since it would be out side on my Florida back porch (exposed to humidity and sometimes rain depending on the storm!) I gave it two coats of WoodRX (my favorite Florida wood protector). So far the cat likes it (though he preferred the cardboard box until I threw that away!)
I would buy this brand again!

My cats were anxious to take possession even before I could finish setting it up. Muffie, my 26-pound Maine Coon slept inside for a while; later on the deck. The two domestic shorthairs are playing on the deck right now, where I have a pot of cat grass and two catnip-filled pillows. I think the second one I bought will be fine for the feral cats when I line it with plastic and straw for the winter.
