After much researching, I decided to purchase this particular model for our Basset Hound. He's not much into it thus far, but I've only had it assembled for an afternoon. We just wanted him to have a 'safe place' outside to go to while we were out and about running errands. I think that this will be a perfect hideaway for him and he will use it quite often, after the smell of the wood sealant has disappeared. As for now, this is our only complaint, the odor is very strong. Other than that, it was very easy to assemble, and the design is beautiful!

The house seemed a little smaller than I thought it would be. Also I'm worried that my animal might break it. It is very pleasant to look at though and easy to set up. I just question it's durability. We'll see. Sure smells good coming out of the box.
