I had a difficult time putting this dog house together and some of the plastic pieces popped off in the construction process. My husband had to finish it and the finished product was what I expected. We have a large black lab and he seems to like it ok. The best part of this dog house was the price. I had an extremely difficult time finding a decent dog house for a large dog that fit in my price range.

I liked the design, the assembly instructions were somewhat vague, but after reviews it went together well! The odor of the plastics was somewhat offensive to me and my dog refused to enter the dogloo! I tried numerous odor removers but the smell still presists! My dog is a Bouvier des Flanders. Please, if you have any suggestions on how to take care of this problem tell me!!!!

The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that I had some problems setting it up. It is not a 1 person job. But it does the job nicely and keeps my dog out of the weather. Here in Idaho it gets pretty cold and wet. Bought large size for our Australian Shepherd. It also looks nice in the dog run. We have seen this model at [...] for just the house no extras, we think this is a great deal and would buy again if needed.
