      our dog is a beagle and loves to be outside. a dog house has always been used since we both work.
      the old wooden dog house is rotting away. also, we tried putting in blankets etc so she could snuggle but the Beagle rips things to shreds. Therefore, this house is perfect as it is all she needs to stay warm. when we bring her indoors after a long day, her body is warm.

      The very top piece to be assembled had the holes improperly placed to where it did not slide and stay in place they way the other house pieces did. Because of this, on any strong windy day the top piece is picked up off the house. Luckily my backyard is fenced in and the dog house is underneath a patio, otherwise I would most likely lose the piece and my dog would get wet.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
