The zipper broke the first tme I used it

I use the crate for the evening with our German Sheppard puppy. She took to it right away. We plan on using it when I travel. That will not be until Thanksgiving week.

My daughter has one of these crates for her Golden Retriever and I have one for my Maltese. We both love them but once when we didn't get the zipper all the way closed, my dog was able to chew up and destroy the zipper. I think if the zipper was closed up high the dog wouldn't have been able to chew through it. It is a really great crate and we zip it up as far as we can and push it up against the wall and that works just fine. She wasn't crate trained and doesn't seem to be afraid of the crate and goes in and out of it all day she just doesn't want to be locked in.
