We got this to replace a very large wire crate that was on loan by the organization that we foster greyhounds for. We are adopting this wonderful hound and wanted something portable and easy to take traveling. The first crate we got for her(not from this site) was canvas and she eventually figured out she could shred it. We opted for this crate, even though it is not as portable, she cannot damage it or get the door open. It has nice wire windows on the sides for ventilation. The only negative is the handles on the wire door is difficult to manipulate open and closed, especially for smaller hands. It is also difficult to secure the top and bottom as they don't line up easily. Hopefully, that will correct itself with use.

we use these crates to crate train puppies. They are a valuable tool for potty training. We like the fact that they have wire windows to prevent chewing. We recommend this model to all our customers.

Good crate, pretty sturdy and super easy to set up. The only reason I checked flimsy is because the outter cover on the little clasp that shuts the door fell off when I was installing it. Doesn't really effect the ability to keep the door shut but it doesn't look as nice. I guess it really doesn't matter if it keeps the dog in. This is a nice big crate, I bought it for a 40 pound Pointer mix but my 60 pound lab mix will hang out in it too.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt and product in good condition. I bought a different crate from Hayneedle at first and it did not meet my expectations (not as big as advertised). I called Hayneedle to express being unsatisfied and they gave me a discount on the next one I bought and free shipping. The lady I spoke to in CS was extremely friendly and helpful. Also talked to a person almost immediately, didn't have to sit on hold for an hour or sit through 20 minutes of computer options. I like them.
