The overal size needs to be stated.
The tray is doing what it is suppose to do however; it is narrower then the size of the crate. My golden does not care. The overall size needs to be mentioned.

this tray is perfect for training on paper. Put newspaper inside tray. Puppies use this tray and no damage on the floor. New puppies are not affraid to use this tray because it is not too deep for them to walk on. All we do is wipeout the tray, put newspaper down and then dispose of used newpapers with pee, and poo. This is very easy to potty train our 2,10 month old shi tzu's pups

A young Labradoodle his first day in a new crate tore the pan up in about 30 min. I tried for a long time to find one that would fit the 48" crate, but the worse part it was borrowed from a friend so I would have to replace the pan before I returned it.
