I was going to use this crate just to transport a 46lb. puppy to and from training. I believe the crate is designed for 65lbs. I'm sorry to say that the crate is really flimsy. When the puppy moves the crate almost wants to tip. The gate is terrible, the space between the gate and crate is unbelievable. I am really disappointed because I always thought of Kennel Aire. I don't see how this crate is airline approved. Sorry I bought it.

Our black lab tore her ACL and was restricted to bed rest for 6 weeks. Wonderful way to contain her without making her totally miserable. She loves her kennel.
