The dog house is nice to look at...great roof, raised floor and well designed. The downside is the quality of wood. The wood is a bit soft and when screwing and bolting the house together you feel like you are breaking/splitting the wood. I would be completely happy with the dog house overall, but the manufacturer needs to look at quality issues. The first one I received had a dented roof and all 4 side panels were split or had pieces missing. The second also had a dented roof even worse than the first and a broken floor panel. Hayneedle and the manufacturer are great about replacing the broken product; they sent out a brand new house with all the parts. [...]

We have a large gated pen for our two dogs, but they seem to be happy with the new houses,moe the youngest shepard still trys to get in with roco their so cute,we placed them on top of the hill close to the home where they love to be ,can't say anything bad about these products only they make me feel better knowing they will use them more than their pen
